    Alex Sanfilippo is the SaaS Founder of PodPros, a company that develops software solutions for the podcasting industry. He is also the founder and former CEO of DailyPS, a multi-author blog with over 130 writers, the former host of one of the largest Christian podcasts globally, the Good Christian Podcast, as well as the host of two successful podcasts, Podcasting Made Simple and Creating a Brand. Before embarking into the podcasting industry in a full-time capacity, Alex served as the Director of Commercial Operations, Aerospace of Team JAS, an FAA-approved manufacturing provider he worked with for over 15 years. Alex joins me today to discuss why letting go of awkward silence is the key to deeper podcast conversations. Todd has been producing his twice-weekly show, Geek News Central, since 2004 and is the co-host of the New Media Show. In 2015, he was inducted into the inaugural class of the Podcast Hall of Fame. He has been credited with the first podcast ad deal, GoDaddy. Todd is the author of Podcasting: The Do-It-Yourself Guide, which helps readers learn how to find, download, and listen to podcasts as well as learn how to create and publish their own. Before starting Blubrry, Todd served as an Advanced Airborne Avionics Systems specialist for 24 years in the United States Navy. He eventually retired with the rank of Senior Chief Petty Officer.     In 1984, Kathy Sullivan became the first American woman to walk in space. By 1986, she took her first deep-sea dive to the Bermuda Seamount flanks, making her the first person in history to walk in space and go to the deepest point of the ocean.  Kathy holds a Doctorate in Marine Geology and Geophysics from Dalhousie University in Nova Scotia and has worked as a ranking commissioned Navy Reserve Oceanographer. She served as the appointed NOAA Chief Scientist and Deputy Administrator, the President and CEO of COSI, and the Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Environmental Observation & Prediction. Most recently, in 2020, Kathy was awarded the Greatest Vertical Extent Travelled by an Individual (within Earth’s exosphere) award. In September 2021, she was appointed as a member of President Biden’s Council of Advisors on Science and Technology. She is also the host of the Kathy Sullivan Explores Podcast, where she explores the human condition through the life journeys of her guests. Kathy joins me today to explore her first year in podcasting.
