Season 2, Episode 8: Becoming a Person Who Partners Well

Coming out of Season 1 of Mission Shift, we were left with a nagging question: In this new era of missions–when mission engagement is from everywhere to everywhere–how do we in the West partner well with believers in locations traditionally labeled as mission fields?

Once again, we set out to learn from missions leaders and practitioners from all over the globe. We interviewed 22 men and women engaged in sending and receiving missions to learn about partnership and power dynamics in global missions. Their voices are intertwined across the 8 episodes of this season as–together–we learn and grow.

As we wrap up this season, we take a look inside and consider what it takes to become a person who partners well as we hear from Mary Lederleitner (USA), Andy McCullough (UK), Brian Virtue (USA), Steve Addison (Australia), Slavko Hadžić (Bosnia and Herzegovina), Forrest Inslee (USA), Jim Reed (USA), Justin O’Malley (New Zealand), Greg Lillestrand (USA), Sophia Wang (USA).
