    What is self-love and why is it so important? How do we love ourselves? Why does it matter? Self-love means that you respect yourself and accept yourself fully, you treat yourself with kindness while also nurturing your spirit and mental health. Self-love is not only about treating yourself with respect but it is also about the thoughts and feelings that you have about yourself. How you speak to yourself and feel about yourself reflects how much self-love you have. Without self-love and self-respect, it is more difficult to find your inner peace.

    For a healthy mindset, you must love and respect the person that you are today. Self-love is to be comfortable in your own skin and to appreciate your inner and outer beauty. When you truly respect and love yourself you are engaging in positive self-love, which helps you feel happier and more in tune with the world around you. You are able to understand your emotions better, you are able to love others with a healthy mindset, and you are able to forgive others. When you love yourself loving others and accepting them into your life is much easier. This year, I would like for my clients to focus on self-love and self-respect.
