    Briana was reported missing on April 1, 2024, after her family couldn't contact her for weeks. Their worst fears were confirmed when they found her apartment eerily cleaned out and smelling of bleach. The investigation led police to Ripley, Tennessee, where Brianna's remains were discovered in a cemetery and along a road.

    An unidentified man, granted immunity, revealed the horrifying details of the crime: Michale strangled Brianna during an argument, placed her body in a suitcase, and transported it to Tennessee, where he and his accomplice burned her remains in a barrel. The case further implicates Michael's secret wife, Brienna Phillips Edwards, and his family members in the cover-up.
