  • Could We Be Domesticated by Aliens? The Statistical Odds of How AI & Aliens Are Connected and What It Means for Your Future
    May 9 2025

Are we alone in the universe—or already living alongside an ancient alien intelligence? In this mind-bending exploration, Professor Robin Hanson (George Mason University & Oxford’s Future of Humanity Institute) breaks down the statistical odds that alien life exists and why it may have already been found in our own solar system. From AI-driven extraterrestrials silently observing us, to the chilling theory that humans are being domesticated by advanced alien civilizations, Hanson reveals where alien life is most likely to emerge, why UFO sightings might actually be real, and how our understanding of “quiet” vs. “loud” aliens could change everything we know about our future.

A great listen no matter who you are

Mayim covers a variety of topics, typically mental health related, but always from a scientific perspective. She is open and honest about her own experiences which translates to the listener feeling like she is your new best friend. She's funny, intelligent and though provoking.

Fantastic episode. Thank you Mayim and Leslie!

This episode had me weeping. Thank you Mayim and Leslie for sharing his life story, struggle with addiction, depression, coming out as gay and living his life on his terms in a homophobic society. He lived it all with such grace and love for others that Leslie is truly an inspiration. I only wish he had more time on this planet. <3

Such an amazing concept

I love that these episodes are well articulated and intelligent. I have a “wow moment” in nearly every episode and it has opened up many new subjects that I can relate to and research. The episodes contain so much information from many voices and points of view but are easily communicated with humor and empathy. Love it

I just love you guys

Talking to children about mental health: start with feelings. Identify all the feelings, print out a chart from Pinterest and tell your children there are all of these feelings that live inside everyone- and each feeling takes turns. As them to close their eyes and check in with their bodies and see if they can find any feelings or hurt? Clearly separate things for them, if they slip and fall “are you scared or is your body hurt? Or both?” Children just need information and language- help them take a big breath (blow out birthday candles) and explained that creating helps calm the body down like magic. It’s okay to feel all of your feelings- and if you can find the words to express them, as adults we can help from there. I get large squash and let the girls hit them with baseball bats if they are frustrated. Find outlets, safe places within your home with a cozy blanket or weighted something. Give your children the tools while you’re learning them yourself! Learn more so we can do better!
