  • Ask Paul | MC Cables in PVC Raceway "Sleeves"
    Nov 8 2024
We will be installing a dozen or so MC cables (PVC jacketed) from a generator to various equipment (power, controls, instrumentation). The customer has requested that we install PVC sleeves to get into the foundation and in to the block out. No issues here. The sleeve would be approximately 15' in length. We will group MC cables into various sleeves to save on space since we have limited room in the blockout. Would ampacity adjustments to the power cables apply in this situation?
