From the inspiration for the songs to the songwriting process to the mechanics of laying down the instrument tracks in the studio, Maris, along with Michael Kelsey and Scott Greeson tell first-hand stories about the creative process. Kelsey is one of Maris' cowriters and the recording engineer and producer of the album. Maris' other cowriter is her husband, Scott Greeson, co-producer of Another Universe.
