• Minisode 612: On establishing self-trust and getting your needs met
    Jul 5 2024
Coming off the heels of Wednesday’s podcast episode with Mara Glatzel, it was so packed full of information that I knew would be helpful to y’all, I wanted to make a follow-up minisode about it. In this episode, I talk about the following topics and ask thought provoking questions. So, get out your journal or favorite note-taking app and dive in. We’ll work on: Self trust Listening to your intuition Knowing your resilience Listening to your own needs and working to get them met Questions like: What is your relationship with the word “needy” or being perceived as needy? Where do you struggle to get your needs met? (Being heard? Speaking them in the first place? Knowing what they are? Boundaries and hard conversations? Deciphering your intuition? Listening to it? What action can you take to dig deeper here? If you hesitate to take that action, why do you think that is? And so much more :) Resources from this episode: Needy with Mara Glatzel Episode 611: Being Needy, Self-Care, and Self-Trust with Mara Glatzel Sign up to be notified when I open registration for The Daring Way program Book recommendations: I love a good personal development book, and you do too, right? • Minisode 609: On how I manifested the home I moved into
    Jun 21 2024
This episode is a continuation of minisode 606 from a few weeks ago, where I talked about doing the bare minimum when you’re feeling overwhelmed with life circumstances. Since then, I’ve moved in and am slowly settling into a new place after leaving my marital home. Over the last several months I’ve been journaling– part of that is writing down the same five things every day that I’ve been focusing on as my goals. One of those goals was finding a house as I embark on this new chapter of my life. Tune in as I tell you how I did it. This minisode also has a mantra/affirmation that I heard on social media a few weeks ago and have been saying over and over to myself. It’s an easy one for you to use too! I hope you love these minisodes as much as I love making them for you, and if you’d like private support from me, don’t hesitate to check out 1:1 coaching! • Episode 605: Coaching Sydney on Reframing Emotions and Come Home to Self
    Jun 5 2024
This week I have a coaching session episode for you! Sydney, a life coach, joins me as we explore her feelings of being stuck about what she wants in the bigger picture of her life and how she is motivated to build towards something meaningful but isn't quite sure what that looks like yet. One key theme we uncover is the concept of coming home to yourself. At one point during our session, I suggested a possible reframe: “Coming home to yourself, it’s about those pivotal moments where we fully accept every part of who we are—peace, trust, stability, anger, rage—recognizing that every facet is breathtakingly beautiful.” We also explore understanding that, maybe, we can be our own anchor in the storms of life. You’ll hear us talk about: Craving clarity and the desire for connection, seeking an anchor in life. (8:17) Processing emotions: What if being oversensitive isn't a flaw but a human experience? (24:33) Reframing how we look at our emotions, especially Sydney's journey with anger and the inner work involved in understanding and working through it.
