In this episode, I talk about the animated series that was based off of the comic strip. Something I notice while I talk about this episode, is the timing of when the animated series came out. Walk with me as I talk about the animated series and how in a way, 2024 is kind of a season of The Boondocks. This one talks about the "Black Comic" known as The Boondocks, by Aaron McGruder. This comic strip was inspired by Calvin and Hobbes and Peanuts, but it takes the turn by showing the world through the lens of African-American kids. Today, I talk about the first African-American woman cartoonist, Jackie Ormes. To me, she did something great and maybe because there isn't a Netflix series based on her, it doesn't feel right. Not saying she needs a special, but lets talk about her and some of the things she did. Hope you enjoy.

I was curious if there was a comic strip or comic book that focused on Friday the 13th, and of course it was. So in this one, I talk about the Wildstorm comic that focus on the movie franchise Friday The 13th. Also, I talk about superstitions, as Friday the 13th did come from that. Do you have a superstition or ritual that you or your family still do? Does it have a history? I would like to know :).

This episode talks about a comic strip that was around the end of the 1990s, Liberty Meadows. Although it lasted for 3 years, there was a great potential where it could have been another great comic strip. I also talk about the man responsible for it, Frank Cho. Today, I will make the attempt to make some sense of the Sony Spider-Man Universe. What I mean by that is explain my views and expectations of Spider-Man and by extension, the stand alone movies that does not include Spider-Man. This includes Venom, Morbius, Madam Web, and the upcoming Kraven the Hunter movie. I hope you learn something from this and I am curious as to your feelings about the Sony Spider-Man movies.

Today, we talk about the first animated character, Felix the Cat. As I was doing the research, I learned that he is and has been all over the place for a long time.
