In this lively episode of Misadventures with Kiki and Cowboy, our fearless duo embarks on a "simple" college campus tour that quickly veers off course. Armed with a car bursting at the seams with snacks, toiletries, and Cowboy’s trusty hat, they set out under the naive notion that this would be a straightforward family trip. Yet, as Waze decides to route them through every Texas backroad imaginable, Kiki and Cowboy find themselves dodging cows, potholes, and a debate over tuna banishment in the car. The journey isn’t complete without Cowboy secretly catching Pokémon along the way, much to Kiki's exasperation, while Kiki herself fine-tunes her microphone skills—between snack breaks, of course.

Upon reaching their Airbnb, they encounter a charmingly haunted dollhouse with ceilings so low, Cowboy has close calls with ceiling fans, and every step unleashes a new chorus of creaks. Just as they’re settling in, the air freshener—a tiny ninja in aerosol form—ambushes Cowboy with face-fulls of fragrance, leaving him as "fresh" as the house’s mystery smell. Despite the slightly spooky setting and the nighttime cockroach encounters, they soldier on to the campus tour, where Cowboy gleefully embarrasses their daughter with photos at every turn. From Pokémon-bonding with other parents to predicting future nursing-home friend setups, Kiki and Cowboy realize the real misadventure wasn’t the campus or the cockroach, but the delightfully chaotic company they keep, and with playful reminders to... bring the toothpaste!
