Hoping to be at peace after dealing with her parents funeral, Alex finds herself burdened by Love Shop, a failing business that is in debt. With the help of her Aunt Wong, Alex learns the ropes of the business through a crash course. To erase the debt which Love Shop is in, Alex and Aunt Wong will have to bring three couples together. Soon, Alex embarks on her mission by meeting her first subject, Jeremy, an entrepreneur with a contradictory disposition, looking for a strong partner who’s also "domestic". In the meantime, Aunt Wong receives a call from a dissatisfied customer who’s asking for a refund which would set them further in debt. When Aunt Wong appeases the situation by convincing the disgruntled client to accept the flaws of her match, the cynical Alex is sure that Love Shop is doomed.
