    On today's edition of the Locked On FLORIDA Panthers Podcast, Armando Velez(@Mandoman12) brought in Nich Fairbanks(@prudentia0) for another edition of Fairbanks Friday, where they broke down the Panthers 3-1 loss against the Chicago Blackhawks. It's now the Panthers' third straight loss at The United Center. Although the Panthers controlled the play, the high danger chances were not up to their standard. They held the young phenom in Connor Bedard without a single shot attempt, and the Barkov line was the line that mostly created in the offensive zone, including Sam Reinhart's 15th goal of the season. However, his goal came not before the Blackhawks scored off a clean exit 34 seconds before. The Panthers made a few changes to their top power play unit with Aaron Ekblad running the point, and shifted Mackie Samoskevich up to the third line mid game. The two discuss the Panthers recent stretch of losing three of their last four, but still getting contributions from their stars. The guys then chat about the Blackhawks struggling to score goals as they are dead last in goals for. Connor Bedard constantly draws the best matchups, where he's stuggled to get pucks on net. The offseason for Chicago was all about complimenting the young phenom, but hasn't quite worked out as they have lost five of their last six games. There are also a good amount of injuries for the Hawks, as well as a surprise scratch from a few nights ago that sparked confusion. The two then discuss where they think the two teams will be once they meet again in February, and give a prediction for tonight's game.     On today's edition of the Locked On FLORIDA Panthers Podcast, Armando Velez(@Mandoman12) brought in Jacob Winans(@JacobWinans8) for another edition of Winans Wednesday. The two broke down the Panthers' 6-3 loss where they controlled play for a good majority of the first period, but Winnipeg's speed made the Panthers pay in the final 5 minutes of the first to get them into a two-goal deficit, one of them with their inability to break out of their zone. The Cats inability to break out continued on their end on the penalty kill when the Jets scored seconds after the power play ended, as the puck was in the Cats zone for almost the entirety of the man advantage. Florida killed a 5-on-3 early in the second period, and the fourth line gave them a bit of energy going into the third period down two. Panthers special team helped cut the deficit to one on more than one occasion with one of their power plays goals with the extra attacker on. Although they drew a penalty and had an opportunity to tie the game on the power play, the Jets got two empty netters to seal the game and ended any hope of the Panthers getting a single point after being down by as much as three on the road. The guys give their three duds of the game, the moment where they knew the game was lost, and some numbers that were revealed by the Florida Panthers on viewership on Scripps Sports and an update on the salary cap projection for the 2025 offseason.
