    Mar 25 2022

What are you core values?  How do you show up as an educator?  Does the organization in which you work do what they say they do? During this episode, the authors of the new Corwin Press release, Leading Change through the Lens of Cultural Proficiency focus on the Guiding Principles of Cultural Proficiency, core values, and healthy, productive, and equitable policies, practices, and behaviors.

The Guiding Principles Cultural Proficiency provide a moral framework for conducting one's self and organization in an ethical fashion.  Teams of educators apply the Guiding Principles of Cultural Proficiency by working to understand how those beliefs  inform all culturally proficient educational practice. You will hear about Eaveston School District's application of the Guiding Principles of Cultural Proficiency and have an opportunity to think about embarking on your own journey with resources and process to support learning around the Framework and application in your own setting.
