    1. James 1:2-4 (NIV):

"Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything."

    2. 1 Peter 1:6-7 (NIV):

"In all this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. These have come so that the proven genuineness of your faith—of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire—may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed."

    3. Hebrews 11:1 (NIV):

"Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see."

    4. 2 Corinthians 4:17-18 (NIV):

"For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal."

    5. Romans 5:3-5 (NIV):

"Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us."

  • Have Faith in God
    Jun 21 2023

Having faith in God means having a deep trust, belief, and reliance on God's existence, goodness, faithfulness, and power. It involves placing confidence in God's character, promises, and divine guidance. Faith in God goes beyond mere intellectual acceptance and involves a personal and profound relationship with God.

Having faith in God entails trusting that God is present, loving, and involved in our lives. It is the assurance that God is in control, even when circumstances seem uncertain or challenging. It involves believing that God's plans and purposes are ultimately for our good.

Faith in God involves relying on Him in all aspects of life. It means surrendering our own desires and plans to God's will and seeking His guidance in decision-making. It acknowledges that we are dependent on God's strength, wisdom, and provision rather than relying solely on our own abilities.

    1. Hebrews 11:1: "Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see."

    2. Matthew 17:20: "Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you."

    3. Mark 11:24: "Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours."

    4. Romans 10:17: "So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ."

    5. Ephesians 2:8-9: "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast."

    6. James 1:6: "But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind."

    7. 2 Corinthians 5:7: "For we live by faith, not by sight."

    8. Galatians 2:20: "I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me."

    9. 1 Peter 1:8-9: "Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, for you are receiving the end result of your faith, the salvation of your souls."
