  • Janis Roszler, PhD, is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Board Certified Sex Therapist, Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, Certified Trauma Professional, Master Level Addiction Professional, and two-time Diabetes Educator of the Year award recipient. Her books include Intimacy & Diabetes (ADA, 2020); Approaches to Behavior (ADA, 2014); Sex and Diabetes – For Him and For Her (ADA, 2007), which was nominated for the 2009 Consumer Book of the Year by the Society for Sex Therapy and Research; Diabetes on Your OWN Terms (Marlowe & Co, 2007) and The Secrets of Living and Loving with Diabetes (Surrey Books, 2004). Dr. Janis currently trains sex therapists at the International Institute of Clinical Sexology.

    Fredrick is the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapist (AASECT) Section Co-Leader for the State of Oregon, Leader of the Society for the Scientific Study of Sexuality (SSSS) BDSM/Kink special Interest group, and former Adjunct Faculty at Lewis & Clark College’s graduate department of Counseling, Therapy, and School Psychology.  They also serve on the Boards of the Northwest Institute on Intimacy and the Betty Dodson Foundation.
