At the time of this story, she was a graduate student and “just” a mom thrilled that her son had been accepted to one of the most esteemed schools in Manhattan. ISE is a non-doctrinal sex ed program for parents and older teens to discuss sexuality in a meaningful way. Rather than presenting specific ideas as Truth, ISE provides a brief neutral overview of all perspectives, inviting parents and teens to come to their own conclusions as to which ideas should be criticized and which should be elevated. Sex Ed for teens age 14 and up is entirely different than the protective Sex Ed appropriate for younger children. Your teens are on the cusp of adulthood. Give them the best possible launch.

It's the first database of its kind that allows educators to list their online classes, downloadables, books, kits, in-person experiences, and more into one easily searchable database so learners can quickly find what they need. Learners can search by secular/religious, age, subject, neurodivergencies, and more. We don't sell education on IndyEd.com- we simply connect learners with educators. With a Bachelor's degree in Commerce from the University of Virginia, Tasniya embarked on her professional journey in teaching, discovering her true calling as she immersed herself in several Sunday schools and founded youth groups tailored to Muslim children and their families. This initial foray into education ignited her passion and set her on a path of lifelong learning and service.

In 2015, Tasniya deepened her expertise by earning her Master's degree in Elementary Montessori Education, marking the beginning of her impactful career as she guided upper elementary children in local Montessori schools.
