fry and Heyer...what could be better?

Very charming conversation on the delights of light but not un-complex novels of Heyer...and the thought of Heyer, being read at a sick bed by Stephen Fry....that swoon worthy. excellent interviewing and production values, too.

insightful

Wonderful interviews and discussions about an exceptional author undervalued, as her idol Jane Austen is, because of her sex and her use of romance as a tool in storytelling.

Delighted Georgette Heyer Fan

I have been a devoted fan for many years and was delighted to find this podcast. The quality was outstanding with the many guests and the many ways of presenting the material. It was never boring. I love that you focused on introducing new readers to the Heyer world. I converted my husband shortly after we were married 32 years ago. We both love the high quality of the writing. Thank you for many enjoyable hours of reviewing one of my favorite authors who deserves much more notice than she gets. I also do not get why we have so many retakes of Jane Austin (who I find excruciatingly difficult to read) when we have so much fresh and fun material available to us in Heyer's work. The only other "regency" writer I have collected was Judith Landsdowne, who wrote some funny novels with delightful characters back in the 90's. Please keep up the good work and hopefully we will see our beloved author's work made into a media which will bring her to the light of the rest of the world. Thanks, Donna Cole
