  • For community to be truly transformative it must receive and accept God's Word for what it is: a divine word from God, centred on his Son, and instructions of how to live for him through his Spirit.

    However, as the Thessalonian believers found out, God's word is divisive, highlighting clearly where living for Jesus looks radically different than living for the world.

    This message examines the role the Bible must play in our community, and highlights some of the contemporary flash points where God's Word and our world are diametrically opposed.
