  • Summary

  • Two absolute working-class nobodies from Southern California with no formal qualifications to credibly talk about anything - politics, pop culture, sports, current events, etc. - yet think they're more qualified to talk about all of those things because they do it with food and beverages!

  • Wake Me Up When April Ends (Ep. 13)
    May 6 2025

Boy the poop really hit the propeller for April, didn't it? Poor Travis & Tom induce depression into themselves as they struggle to sum up what the month was - including a constitutional crisis involving due process and deportations, a reckless trade war, an insane man who had literal brain worms trying to get the government to persecute people with autism, and a papal vacancy. And they foolishly tried to do it before the month was over.

Here are somethings that got left out:

    • Said brain-worm man commissioning a national registry of people with mental disorders (which goes against multiple laws regarding the privacy of medical records) - all while promising an autism cure by September.
    • A Jewish Democratic state governor had his home attacked by an arsonist over the fact that said governor was Jewish under the guise of taking vengeance against Israel's actions in Gaza.
    • Trump wants to give women $5000 for having babies.
    • J.D. Vance broke Ohio State Football's national championship trophy.

A month behind on the news yet again! Remember when Trump wanted to annex Greenland? Remember Mahmoud Khalil? Remember the tariffs (oh wait!). Tom and Travis recorded this back in the end of March - in Tom's car no less for some reason - and we couldn't figure out a good slate for it. Hope you still enjoy it anyway. Maybe it will provide you with great nostalgia!
