When it comes to apparitions, there is no rhyme or reason for their sudden appearance… or is there? After all, whose mansion is it? If you are there to do a job, maybe work or clean, in let’s say, the Spiral Staircase, you might have a visit from a woman in white who floats down the steps and stops directly in front of you. Maybe when cleaning the Bowling Alley, you turn around only to see a small boy staring at you, knowing only you can see him. And how about the “servant” spirit floating… well, you get the idea!

Sometimes, just doing your job inside the mansion includes being shoved down a flight of stairs, or having an entity force its will on you by luring you to sleep with the possibility of taking over your body. Throughout the history of Greystone Mansion, the one common denominator is the existence of a young girl who died tragically on the property. Over the years, many have seen her standing in the Card Room and staring straight ahead at the Grand Entry door. Peeking out at those passing by Lucy’s bedroom on the Second Floor Landing. Running the hallway in the Boy's Wing, and standing on the rooftop of the Theater in the Recreation Wing. This undisputable evidence is finally being presented!

The Second Floor Landing and Hallway Part 2 upholds its paranormal perception of an extremely active area. This location has the most sightings of apparitions in the entire 46,000 square foot mansion. From a little girl, to a woman said to look like Lucy Doheny, wife of Ned Doheny, wandering the hallway keeping an eye on all who approach the Master Suites. One of the most active locations in the entire 46,000 square feet of the mansion is the Second Floor Landing and Hallway. From black and white shadow forms to solid and transparent apparitions, these spirits are anxious to make themselves known. Poltergeist activity has been seen and heard in this location. This Second Floor Landing and Hallway runs nearly the entire length of the building from the Gun Room on the east, to the Master Suites on the west. The middle of the Landing looks down to the Grand Entry, allowing the spirits to see exactly who is entering their home!
