    Geoff has not just been involved in music, but also theatre and other performing arts.
    While as a student he worked at a local free newspaper, part of Halifax Free Press which was produced when the NUJ strike.
    In this episode Geoff also talks about owning and running a pub with his brother, the Three Pigeons in Halifax.
    Geoff has contributed a lot to the international music scene. Through the connections he has made he has been able to bring a lot of internationally recognised musicians to come and play in Calderdale.

    He has been able to support local people, including young people, to think about what is possible to achieve in life, he shares stories of visiting the local school to give a talk on this.
    Through this he learnt by doing and on the job, through this he is more adept at stage lighting and how to make the most of performance area available.
