  • How can the NWSL adapt to the climate crisis?
    Jul 10 2025

We are in the thick of the ‘Summer of Soccer’ – from the UEFA Women’s Euros, to CAF's Women’s African Cup of Nations, to FIFA's Men’s Club World Cup, and with the NWSL set to return on August 2nd – it is all happening. And, as I’m sure you’re experiencing, the summers are fraught with extreme heat, hurricanes, storms and droughts…and yet, the soccer still goes on.

On this week's Full Time, Tamerra Griffin and Meg Linehan to dive a little bit deeper into how the NWSL and global soccer intends to keep up with climate change – how can leagues, teams and governing bodies adapt to climate? Who does the responsibility fall on? And, how will soccer look in the future? To help do that, the podcast enlisted the help of climate sports researcher, and author of the book ‘Warming Up: How Climate is Changing Sport’, Dr, Madeleine Orr.

  • How England bounced back to beat the Netherlands at Euro 2025
    Jul 9 2025

What a response from England. With the Lionesses Euro 2025 title hopes on the line, they bounced back from an opening match defeat to France to thrash the Netherlands 4-0 on Matchday 2 of the group stage.

On the second edition of Full Time Euros, Charlotte Harpur joins the podcast from Zurich to break down how England produced one of the best performances of the Sarina Wiegman era. Did the outside pressure ever reach the players? What makes Lauren James so special? And, what tactical adjustments did Wiegman get so right?

PLUS: Michael Cox has his analysis from watching Spain rout Belgium 6-2 in Group B, where Spain offer up an evolved version of the team that won the 2023 World Cup. And, Cerys Jones has the latest from Groups A and C, where Norway, Germany and Sweden pushed on but not without critiques and the hosts, Switzerland, continued to entertain.

  • What next for England after disastrous Euros defeat to France?
    Jul 6 2025

The first round of group stage matches at Euro 2025 are in the books, and England are on the ropes after a disastrous 2-1 defeat to France in their opening match of the tournament.

On the opening edition of Full Time Euros, Tamerra Griffin is joined by Cerys Jones, Megan Feringa, and Charlotte Harpur to analyze every match, the biggest performances and talking points from the first round of the group stage of Euro 2025.

Charlotte calls in from Stadion Letzigrund, fresh from speaking to the England players and head coach Sarina Wiegman about the defeat, to give her insight from Zurich. How did the French boss the midfield and penetrate on the wings so easily?
