While many folks debate the differences between what Bosa did & any other athlete who makes a political statement in sports, Bosa broke an NFL policy about displaying political messages in the stadium. It's a written rule and Bosa is expected to pay a fine. The discussion turns to the announcement of this year's HBCU Classic that will take place NBA All-Star Weekend in the Bay Area, that will pit Morehouse College against Tuskegee University. Jason is looking forward to potentially working on that game against HBCU rivals. Kirk is excited that the game will take place in his hometown.

She tells Hakeem's story of what he accomplished throughout the '80s & '90s while exploring the influence of Hakeem's commitment to Islam on his approach to life and basketball, & how his devotion to his faith inspired generations of Muslim people worldwide. The book talks about Hakeem's ongoing work with NBA Africa, his status as an international ambassador for the game, and his consultations with today's brightest stars including, LeBron James & Giannis Antetokounmpo. Hakeem today is also a very successful realtor in the Houston area who according to Mirin, 'owns half of Houston'.
