Episode 7: Transcending Modern Day Motherhood

  • Summary

  • In today's episode we will be diving into all of the unspoken struggles about trying to thrive and “do it all” in modern day motherhood. Tiffanie deep dives into what women and mothers are experiencing with a world that is pouring messages onto them with ongoing demands and stimulation without any reacharge or time to process all of the bombardment which is creating a toxic cycle of burnout. Women are wondering “why are we not equipped and enough for our roles?” The women and mothers are facing daily discouragement with a relentless inner critic and being a part of a subconscious competition with other women as they try to tackle mile long lists of responsibilities and meeting needs for their families, when their own feminine needs are being neglected. With encouragement for each of us to put some thought into what is not working for us within this modern day rat race, Tiffanie shares that waking up to the madness of what is happening in our society may feel like an upstream swim, but she thinks its key to reclaiming what was always meant to be ours, starting with our own selves, our beliefs, our values and how we spend our time. When we can meet our own needs as women and give ourselves the gifts of rest, stillness, taking breaks, having deep and safe connections and sisterly friendships that can cheer us on, we can more fully dive into being regulated, healthy, stable women who are fit for the wild task of facing modern day motherhood from a transcended state of consciousness and intention and showing our children that we are willing to create a different culture where it will be safe and common for them to do the same.
