Interesting idea, yet VERY poor research
At first I was very interested in the concept. Overall I would say the performances are spectacular and enjoyable to listen to as well as the sound effects. However, the one thing lacking is in the writing/editing department. The stories from the Bible don’t play out like the stories of these characters AT ALL. Yes, Virginia “Mary” seems to have a miraculous conception, but it definitely did not happen the way it was told in the Bible, especially if the creator of this podcast is “trying” to say that these stories represent one’s that haven’t happened yet. It doesn’t feel very realistic to me. Obviously, this is a fictional story, but it does not seem like much research was put into this, from a theological standpoint at least. I’ll continue listening because why not and it’s not terrible. It is entertaining, but not realistic or believable. Honestly you would be better off just reading the stories from the Bible yourself.
