  • Today, we talked with Dr. Jada Thompson in preparation for Thanksgiving! We chatted about turkey production, the economics of the turkey industry in the state and why it’s important to remember turkey producers beyond the Thanksgiving holiday season.

    Jada Thompson is an Associate Professor of Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness at the University of Arkansas. She holds two bachelor’s degrees from the UofA, one in Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness and another in Poultry Science. She went on to pursue a master’s degree in Ag Economics and another one in Rural Development, as well as a PhD in Agricultural and Resource Economics.
