  • Summary

  • Casey Kasem, a child of Lebanese immigrants, has a difficult childhood. But he eventually fulfills his show business dreams: growing up to become a pop culture legend. He creates the radio show America’s Top 40 and becomes the voice of Shaggy in Scooby Doo. He marries actress Linda Myers and has three children. Interesting story, awful narration

The story is very intriguing but the narrator sounds impaired at worst, sluggish at best. I will have to be satisfied reading about the saga instead of listening. The narration’s quality simply doesn’t do justice to the dramatic story of the final days of an American icon.
