great first episode

so far I'm really loving the podcast/mini series.* the thing I don't like is the adds maybe a little twinle sound to let you know they are happening. *

narrator voice is very nice, she speaks clearly and you can totally understand her at all times which isn't always the case with audiobooks. plus the volume level is perfect.

I do think the hatred of Christmas from mackenzie is slightly over the top but I am sure that will change over the course of the series! I do think mackenzie is almost totally unlikable so far to be honest ( thank goodness it's just episode one) so the author has totally made me grinch/scrooge dislike her perfectly. the rest of the characters are going to be a total hoot I can tell and I'm excited to see what happens next!

* someone mentioned not liking hearing the narrator breathe and it being not cool. I actually love it because it feels like a friend is reading a book to me in person. makes it more real and honestly I love the true human element to it !*
