  • Summary

  • OK, so you’ve successfully introduced a new habit, or lost an old one, but how can you make it stick? In this episode Ash and Alice will try to work out what factors make change last. They’ll talk to Katy Milkman about her new project ‘Making Behaviour Change Stick’. She says the next step in the science of behaviour change is working out how you can make change that lasts forever.

Ash also talks to the habit expert Nir Eyal who explains that to make change last you need to make your new habit small, manageable and fun.

Interesting and fun presentation

The narrators and guests were all excellent. There were qualified scientists and other types of people and each one added value.
It was lively and thoughtful.

Funny stories

I would recommend this podcast for anyone looking into “choice architecture” of their habits. The narrators were funny, inclusive, diverse and brought some good pointers for some of us who are struggling to make time for more pleasurable things. I would say that a pdf file, or written parts would be helpful for screenshot purposes. I say this because while I was driving, I was trying to write some bullet points from certain episodes.
