    Jerri L. Bland, Ed.D. is the CEO of Digital Futures, Inc. and co-founder and host of Educated Brown Girls. Jerri has a bachelor's degree from the University of New Orleans, a Master of Public Administration from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and a doctorate in higher education administration from The George Washington University. Jerri is a freelance information technology program manager and an adjunct faculty member at the UNC-CH School of Government. Jerri is a project management professional (PMP) and is a Six Sigma Green Belt. Jerri enjoys ringing handbells and rowing in her free time and serves as a member of the International Advisory Board for Carolina Performing Arts.

    Mikki Kendall is a writer, diversity consultant, and occasional feminist; she has appeared on the BBC, NPR, The Daily Show, PBS, Good Morning America, MSNBC, Al Jazeera, WBEZ, and Showtime, and discusses race, feminism, police violence, tech, and pop culture at institutions and universities across the country. She is the author of the New York Times-bestselling HOOD FEMINISM (recipient of the Chicago Review of Books Award and named a best book of the year by BBC, Bustle, and TIME). She is also the author of AMAZONS, ABOLITIONISTS, AND ACTIVISTS, a graphic novel illustrated by A. D’Amico.
