Naval Captain Gervy Alota join Heath and Jamie in E14 Podcast’s latest episode.  He takes Heath & Jamie on a trip through his childhood, career and his leadership,  principles and techniques that has proven successful.  His leadership, though unconventional, brings people together to create a Roman Empire in the form of a US Naval Worship.  

Heath is joined by Ian McGlynn, host of Why Whiskey Podcast and Co-Host of The Tavern in Question Podcast.  Together they rant about the Navy’s recent choice about who they have representing them and how their choices represent the United States to allies and foes.  

Heath and Jamie got to visit with Brian Short, a Royal Marine Veteran, an accomplished drummer and author.  We got hear about his service, his music and one Easter in 1982 when the British Royal Marines boarded a British Cruise Ship and headed to South America for war, bringing the Royal Marine Band with them.  This 75 day war would change Brian’s life forever and motivate him to write his latest book, “The Band that Went to War.”

Heath and Jamie are joined by Navy Nuclear Operator Chief Brian Esarey.  He is on the show to set the record straight about recent rumors and articles expressing the height suicide rate and mental illness spikes among Navy Nuclear Students.  He discussed the positive atmosphere surrounding Navy Nuclear Schools and the leaps and bounds the Navy has made, in infrastructure, throughout Navy Nuclear curriculum and amenities available for Navy Nuclear students.  

Heath and Jamie is visited by Dezarae Brigham, a Navy Sailor and Podcaster.  Dezarae talks about her struggles during her naval career and what motivates her to keep winning.  She discusses her passion for Body Building and her new found love for podcasting.  She recently launched her podcast, Seeds of Triumph and this show is definitely a must listen.  Her reasons for the podcast is to support Active Duty Military.   Check it out!
