In this episode, we discuss the Bitcoin whitepaper.

Here is the link: The Whitepaper

Take the time to read it. It is only 9 pages, and you will get the gist of what they were trying to do. The problem of being able to send value over a digital network sounds simple, but many people had been working on it for some time. This paper came up with a clever way to utilize a network of actors that would utilize their computer power to establish a distributed ledger that is verified by consensus.

This experiment slowly grew into a network that now has a total value of over $1 Trillion. And its just going to keep growing as more and more people worldwide adopt the technology.

We are just getting this podcast off the ground. Stay tuned for a lot more good information to help you get started on your journey of learning about bitcoin. Thanks for listening.
