Marcy and Dee will be talking with Psychotherapist and Certified Sex Therapist, Marc Prevette about sexuality and healing from purity culture. Marc Prevette ( sounds like - Pre-Vet) is a board-certified licensed psychotherapist, certified sex therapist, and clinical supervisor. He has received extensive training in multiple trauma therapy approaches and supervises and teaches future counselors and sex therapists. In addition to his direct clinical experience, he has had the privilege of speaking at several university functions on topics of sexuality, gender, sex education, and trauma. He spoke on the issues of sexuality and aging, improving sexuality education for medical professionals, and the ethical impacts of poor bias control toward sexuality subjects by clinical professionals in other formats.
