  • 1141: Clear as Mud // Spiritual Lessons from the Time of Nero 07 (Eric Ludy)
    Jul 5 2024

This is the seventh installment of Eric’s series entitled Spiritual Lessons from the Time of Nero. In this episode he addresses the hard-to-understand style of prophetic and apocalyptic writings in Scripture. Why did God give us these strange and challenging books, and how, as the Body of Christ, are we supposed to approach them? Because, for many, these pieces of divine communication are as clear as mud.

  • 1140: The Superlative Reality // The Grand and Glorious Gospel 03 (Nathan Johnson)
    Jul 3 2024

Jesus IS our salvation! This is so profound that “good” news makes it sound paltry. The superlative reality is that Christ Himself has saved us from the domain of darkness and transferred us into His own kingdom. In this study we talk about Jesus being our salvation in the past, present, and future tenses.

  • 1139: The Ash of Antioches // Spiritual Lessons from the Time of Nero 06 (Eric Ludy)
    Jul 1 2024

This is the sixth installment in Eric’s Daily Thunder series entitled Spiritual Lessons from the Times of Nero. In this episode he demonstrates throughout the Biblical record (and even in the history of the Jews unrecorded in the Biblical record) a clear pattern of God’s divine purposefulness in allowing weakness in the men and nations He favors. And He does this in order to showcase His strength in and through that very weakness. With a Gideon-esque intentionality, He often will shrink down our earthly forces before He marshals His heavenly ones to fight on our behalf. And in so doing, He never fails to bring beauty out of ash.

Fascinating, helpful and encouraging

This podcast has such variety, in the topics covered and teaching styles used... Yeah, it keeps a focus on the centrality of Christ. It is Christ-centered, Biblical, relevant, and impactful. There are such a variety of series that they have given throughout the years... Well, worth listening to.
