On Thursday, February 19, 2015 16-year-old Becky Watts was re-sitting for her GCSEs, or General Certificate of Secondary Education, which is an academic qualification in various subjects that take place in the UK starting in Year 9 or 10. It’s more than likely that as she sat for the exams, she was exhausted since the night before, Becky had been out, having fun with friends & hadn’t slept at all. For all intents & purposes, Carl Eric “Charlie” Brandt seemed like a completely even-keeled, happy person. He was in what appeared to be a happy marriage that others envied, but it turned out he was hiding an exceptionally deep, dark secret. On the morning of Saturday, July 21, 2018, Lana Clayton ran out of her house, claiming that she found her husband, Steve Clayton, dead at the bottom of the staircase in their South Carolina home. The coroner initially believed that Steve’s death was a result of a heart attack, but as time went by, his family began to notice that Lana was acting strangely. This prompted further investigation which shifted the whole picture in another direction.
