Eric received a Critics’ Choice Award nomination for his transformative role in Showtime’s award-winning series Escape at Dannemora , directed by Ben Stiller. Having begun performing at ten years old on the Chicago stage, Natasha Leggero has parlayed her talents into a successful, diverse career as an actor, producer, and writer. In 2015, Leggero created, wrote, produced and starred in the Comedy Central’s single-camera comedy, Another Period, alongside Riki Lindhome. The series, produced by Ben Stiller's Red Hour Productions, ran for three seasons. Additionally, Leggero was a series regular as Emma on NBC’s single-cam comedy, Free Agents, with Kathryn Hahn and Hank Azaria. Jeff Bergman provides the voices of President Trump and Joe Biden on the Showtime series Our Cartoon President. Bergman is the first person to voice legendary Looney Tunes characters; Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, and Elmer Fudd after Mel Blanc passed away in 1989. Jeff was personally selected by Steven Spielberg for the role of Bugs Bunny in Steven Spielberg’s Tiny Toon Adventures. In 1989, he was directed by Chuck Jones to voice Bugs and Daffy for the Gremlins 2 opening title sequence. In 1990, Bergman can be heard voicing Bugs, Daffy and Elmer in the first animated theatrical short for Warner Bros. Studio in twenty-seven years, Box Office Bunny. Jeff is now currently voicing Sylvester, Elmer Fudd, and Foghorn Leghorn for the show Looney Tunes Cartoons and also provides the voice of Fred Flintstone for the show Yabba Dabba Dinosaurs now airing on Boomerang. An Intriguing Tech Mystery

This was a great drama. I had to warm up to it since most of it is in first person narrative and I am more used to full cast being full cast rather than supportive characters. I thought this might have worked a bit better with more other cast involvement. The tech implications are frightening and things don't turn out the way you expect. Great supporting cast and effects. The lead actress was wonderful, but there were far too many monologues that did slow the story down. She is also constantly eating throughout the entire drama. Another reviewer noted this as well, when she is narrating while eating it is annoying. Still a great listen and the conclusion leaves things open for a sequel.

Interested connections to long standing tropes!

Honestly, I enjoyed this maybe more than I should have. Been on a bit of a cyberthriller binger. It was quire good though.

I understand the complaints about the eating. I have to say, I kind of found it funny. I think she is using the same tech that old attorneys used for making notes for their paralegals, and I can just imagine the partner monching while trying to tell the paralegal "very important" details. It was immersive for me in a ... in hindsight, kinda gross way. I didnt even really realize how common it was until I read the reviews.

To the actual short review -- They took some long-standing tropes and managed to weave them together into a semi-believable, definitely immersive, story. The voice acting was excellent with some voices many are familiar with from other fairly popular shows. Overall, an enjoyable experience I definitely recommend.

A non-native speaker's review

Everything is excellence, but, If it had not been Seehorn's voice I would have not followed this podcast.
First, I am not a native speaker of English, nor have I lived in any English spoken countries, some of the words and expressions are elusive, but, it does not impact too much since the content is very well organized and intriguing.
Second, I have been to SFO, LA and NYC, HK, so, call me Special Agent Li. I can conjure up a crime set effortlessly.
The program is so much like "Person of interest", which the investigation is like following the vine.

Come Ooooonnnnn

I love love love this story. The plot is one of those "this could be real, at some point in the future " at least for me. But why is Cydney so naive???? after everything that happened, why is she still sharing info electronically?!?!?!
Can't wait for the next podcast????
