The incarnation! God becoming flesh! Such a central and powerful part of our doctrine and beliefs!

As we look at these few passages, rich with meaning and emotion, I see a few things I want to point out today!

Luke 2:1-7 (NLT): At that time the Roman emperor, Augustus, decreed that a census should be taken throughout the Roman Empire. 2 (This was the first census taken when Quirinius was governor of Syria.) 3 All returned to their own ancestral towns to register for this census. 4 And because Joseph was a descendant of King David, he had to go to Bethlehem in Judea, David’s ancient home. He traveled there from the village of Nazareth in Galilee. 5 He took with him Mary, to whom he was engaged, who was now expecting a child. 6 And while they were there, the time came for her baby to be born. 7 She gave birth to her firstborn son. She wrapped him snugly in strips of cloth and laid him in a manger, because there was no lodging available for them.

I see so much fear in the world today. This was true of that time as well!
The coming of Jesus was an act of PEACE! It was God stretching out His hand to the world in the form of His son! There are 365 fear nots in the bible.... Perfect provision for every single day!

It is vital that we learn to break out of fear and anxiety and live in favor! Nobody overcomes the battles of life with fear!

I want to give you three keys for shifting from fear to FAVOR from the birth of Christ!

Isaiah 9:6 NLT: And he will be called: Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”
