I have never experienced being able to say goodbye to a pet before... I have had many pets, but they have passed, and my mom took them to the vet or they "ran away" this was the first time I was experiencing a death of a pet in a way I never have while also trying to explain death and heaven? to our 6 year old.

Doctor visits are long and overwhelming and at times your anger and frustration gets the better of you and you blame the doctors because you feel like you "need" to blame someone and yet there is no one to blame.

The pressure of digestive enzymes, chest pt, breathing treatments, germs, and the fear of the unknown takes a hit to your mental health.

I learned my biological father's dad passed away and I didn't think it would have affect me like it did. The realization of the opportunity to meet is forever gone now and with that comes sadness.

I noticed that the "first day of school picture" was WAY too much information plastered with a lot of detail, and it made me think about how much we are trusting with how much we put out there.

I know this will probably sounds hypocritical while sharing my life here on the podcast but after seeing this trend it hit me how much information we give out.

Birthday Parties can be such a pain in the ass. This year was the first year where we did a "yes birthday" where anything my daughter wanted to do, we said yes. Turns out this was "THE BEST BIRTHDAY EVER" according to my 6-year-old. We typically do the big parties that look like pinterest but this year we ditched the normalcy and tired something outside of the box.
