Excellent twist on Holmes
This was an excellent multi cast story that filled in gaps about where Moriarty came from and why he hated Sherlock Holmes.

Clever and engaging

Well acted characters
I love Dom and Billy, but it was the story that was so captivating. LOVED IT, and now, on to Season 2! 🥰

Clever plot and excellent voice actors!

Richness of plot and character performances
I liked everything except the cliffhanger ending (thus, the 4-star rating for the story). Otherwise, this was an outstanding listen and I look forward to the next chapter.

SO GOOD!!!!!!
I am generally not into group readings/performances like this, but wow this was so good. I loved the different takes on characters and the twists were amazing. Couldn’t recommend enough!

Fresh & fantastic new idea!
Could not stop listening, heard it all at one go, while finishing a quilt. Just what I needed to get through the tedious parts of my project; I was surprised how fast and how pleasantly time flew. If you are a huge fan of Sherlock Holmes, as I have been since childhood, it might be almost offensive at first to hear this alternate presentation of The Man. It was decidedly offputting to me at first, but then I realized I had to laugh at myself, and remember he’s not a real person, this is all fiction! I decided to go with the fun lark of the idea: What if there were more to the story than we were told? This book takes that approach, reminding me of Wicked’s retort to The Wizard of Oz. Once I gave myself over to it, I had a rip roaring good time. I felt like I was watching a film, like the good old days of audio dramas before people watched so much television. Very very well done. The sound effects and musical transitions were never overbearing, annoying or distracting, but spot on. And if your acquaintance with Holmes has been recently refreshed, you will love all the connecting references sprinkled throughout. Overall, it’s a perfect performance, really.

I am addicted
This authentic fresh twist sent me in a roller coaster ride and has me relooking all the past Holmes stories. thank you and keep it coming. We all have a version of the truth in us.
