Marvel did a cool book spotlighting Indigenous creators called Marvel’s Voices: Indigenous Voices. Maria Wolf, who is a relatively new artist, has been doing amazing cover work and is one of my current faves.

Dynamite has a new graphic novel coming out called Thunderous by M.L. Smoker, who is a member of the Assiniboine and Sioux tribes of Montana’s Fort Peck. Art by Dale DeForest, who is Navajo and grew up in 4-corners area of the Navajo Nation around Shiprock and Farmington New Mexico. From what I’ve read, it pulls from a lot of Indigenous stories and beliefs.

In which we discuss the first three stories from Tales of the Slayers, plus Angel vs. Frankenstein.
