  • Welcome to the Madness To Creation Podcast: Where Self-Care & Music Merge!
    This unique platform is where artists come forward and converse with myself who works in the education/mental health field about their personal struggles, along with positive mindset, mindfulness, and overcoming addiction. For example: we've had the following stories
    1. Lady Londyn- black transgender artist who opened up about her suicide attempt
    2. We Three- opened up about their depression and how they use their platform to help heal others
    3. Sweetlove- artist who poured her emotions to talk about three friends that died of alcoholism and suicide
    and these are just a few examples. We try to be as genuine as possible. We will have the following themes:
    1. The Gush Sesh- Where artists talk about songs and albums that got them through
    2. MTC Reviews- Where we pour through album reviews from a mental health lyrical standpoint
    3. Mark Dean Interviews- Where Mark Dean of Antihero Magazine has guest interviews

  • Behind The Yearbook: CHRIS DE BURGH Talks "Robin Hood" and His Legacy

    Contributor's Note:  Recently, legendary singer/songwriter Chris De Burgh released his 27th studio album entitled "The Legend of Robin Hood."  The album takes on his story and conceptualizes the injustices, circumstances and the life that Robin Hood lived and brings it to life for the listener.  The album was so well put together that a production company out of Germany is going to make it into a musical.


    "The Legend of Robin Hood" was produced by Chris Porter and it takes the listener through an aural extravaganza through a wide variety of musical genres including Medieval, traditional, nursery rhymes, Celtic, folk, rock, classical and choral.  The album includes the single "Live Life, Live Well" along with a reimagination of one of de Burgh's crowd favorites entitled "Light a Fire."

    Contributor's Note:  Scottie Brown talks to THE MYLES KENNEDY on the Scholastic Perspectives Podcast(formerly known as Madness To Creation) about "Ides of March", which was released awhile back via Napalm Records.  Scottie and Myles talks about mental health and the nuances behind the creative process of "Ides of March" and Myles was absolutely vulnerable in talking about mental health through the pandemic and life balance.  "The Ides of March" reached numerous Billboard chart positions including #1 in Current Hard Music in the United States, #1 Official Rock & Metal Albums in the United Kingdom, #1 Official Independent Album Chart in the U.K. and #1 Hard Music Album in Canada.  The album includes "In Stride" and the pensive ballad "Love Rain Down."  Myles puts in incredible solo work along with life changing material in Alter Bridge and has also fronted in Slash's band for numerous shows.  Myles could be most famously known for WWE Superstar Edge's entrance music for "Metalingus."  Fans can find Myles Kennedy on Facebook, his official website and Instagram.
