    Nov 25 2024

Does God dwell here on the earth? If so, where and how exactly.

Watch Jesus throw out all the old understandings of this and point directly at Himself.

Here in just Chapter 2 of John, He refers to a destruction and then being raised in three days. He's done one miracle so far and He's already putting a spotlight on his death and resurrection.

  • Who has naming rights to ME? s28e13 Jn1:42
    Nov 22 2024

Wouldn't it be cool to meet God and have Him give you a new name? It happens to Peter right at the beginning of their relationship. Peter hadn't even expressed any hint of belief yet. God says to the biggest knucklehead of the Bible: You are ROCK. You will grow strong and solid. It is such a wonderful gift from God to see Peter in this way, even before it happens.

  • How do you say, “Jesus Christ!”? s28e12 Jn1:41
    Nov 21 2024

The phrase, "Jesus Christ!" is often used as an obscenity. Christ is the Greek word for the office of messiah or anointed one. Swearing takes the Person, Jesus and His office, Christ (anointed one or messiah) and uses it as a verbal atrocity.

Oh that we'd be more like Andrew who was the first to get this association RIGHT. The awaited one has NOW COME. The page from OT anticipating to NT experiencing is now turned. Let's respectfully, and rightly say with him, "Jesus Christ!"

    Nov 18 2024

If the Bible is true, you, yes you can be greater than the greatest man that ever lived. Jesus identified this person as John the Baptist. It is quite a title, yet, if we get adopted into God's heavenly family we get untold greatness. What we get from being in God's family makes us greater than the greatest man that ever lived. It staggers the imagination as to what it is like in such a family.

This podcast is meant to be daily and sequential, so stick around. Watch some more. We'll find out more about this greatness-giving God.
