Already full of excitement as Sizzla now touch the stage...I spot a familiar face backstage, ZJ Sparks from Zip 103fm Jamaica.
I have a lot of respect for Queens in the industry (broadcasting, entertainment and media) which definitely has its hurdles for us, and after following Sparks longtime on IG, hold her works in high esteem.
Jamaican DJ, Host, Voice actor and Producer ZJ Sparks is a real livewire!
It was truly Irie to full joy the vibes of one of her favorite August Town artists...
Blazing Fyah for the Barbados Reggae Showdown 2024...Sizzla Kalonji at the Botanical Gardens, Saturday night.
Keep up Jah great werks Sparks!
    An inspiration to many.

    May 4 2024

If Barbados never knew of this aspiring artist clean out of St. Kitts and Nevis...they now know of Byron Messia after his first vibrant and energetic performance in Barbados that had the crowd hot for the Barbados Reggae Showdown following line up artists.
Born in Jamaica but raised in St. Kitts and Nevis Messia's viral hit 'Taliban' shows his great potential. At a young age Messia is already mashing up the dancehall arena with his unique sound rooted in classic Jamaican Dancehall. Check out 'Talibans II' remixed by Burna Boy amongst other infectious tracks.
