We had one two hour window over two weeks to put an episode together. We spoke to Luigi Maffioli from Gottifredi Maffioli. Luigi is a long time friend. His companies ropes were used in the Cup, in the Ocean Race, throughout the Olympics, Superyachts and at Foiling Week. They make some very cool stuff and understanding ropes is critical to being a good sailor. As always it was a fun discussion. Enjoy!

Episode 300, who would have thought!

To celebrate we reached out to Cole Brauer. 2nd in the 2023–2024 Global Solo Challenge, setting a new around-the-world speed record for the class 40. And the first woman from the United States to race single-handed around the world nonstop. Plus, she has changed the game in her ability to connect to the public through her social media presence. This week we focus in on the Melbourne to Osaka Race, A 5,500 mile doublehander race. It starts in March in Melbourne and races north through the Pacific to Osaka in Japan. It's the 9th edition of the race which is held usually every 4 years. We reached out to one of our great mates Paul Schulz. He is going again after competing for the first time in 2018.
