  • Episode 3: The Ninth Grade

    In today's episode, Lina and Sophia take a deep dive into the ninth grade at South Hunterdon. In the first interview, Lina and Sophia did their first dual interview, where they talked to two 9th graders. Here, they talked about school, friends, sports, the community, and how Covid-19 changed them and their middle/high school experience. In the second interview, Lina and Sophia talk with the eighth and ninth grade South Hunterdon history teacher, Ms. Jeong. Together they talk about high school, college, Ms. Jeong's journey as a teacher at South Hunterdon, and, of course, her ninth-grade students. At the end of the episode, Lina and Sophia thank everyone who participated and invites the listeners back for their final episode.

  • Episode 2: The Eighth Grade

    In their first interview, Lina and Sophia talk to Landon. They discuss sports, community, and his life and future at South. With the next student, Tess, we talk about the arts and theatre opportunities, and with Lucy, our third interviewee, we talk about maturing at South. Lastly, Lina and Sophia talk to Mrs. Dey, an Eighth-grade math teacher. They talk about everything, from how Mrs. Dey started teaching to where she is now. Additionally, they discuss how the Eighth graders have changed during their time at South and especially throughout this year. Lina and Sophia close the episode by talking briefly about the next episode.

  • Episode 1 - The Seventh Grade

    Lina and Sophia start the podcats with an introduction to the episode. They talk about what the episode is going to be about, what they will do, and who they will talk to. Then, the first interview begins, with Rikaya, a seventh-grade student. Lina, Sophia, and Rikaya talk all about being a student at South. They talk about the teachers, students, social life, the arts and athletics at South, and more.
    After the interview with Rikaya, Lina and Sophia talk to Quincy in a funny and engaging interview. Quincy discusses the arts at the south, and his experiences so far at a new school. Lina, Sophia, and Quincy also talk about the teachers at South, and how they improve the students' everyday lives.
    To close the episode, Lina and Sophia interview a seventh-grade math teacher (who happens to also be their podcasting teacher) on his experiences at the school. They talk about everything from how he became a teacher and what his favorite grade has been to teach to his experiences at other schools and dream job as a professional baseball player.
    The episode ends with a message from Lina and Sophia. They talk about how much fun they had filming the episode and invite you to listen to their next episode featuring the eighth grade.
