Vietnam Memorial Story is Captivating

I loved learning about the story behind the Vietnam Memorial. Maya Lin deserves a much more renown place in our classroom history books! The host reads in a way tjat engages me, and the sound effects and personal perspective of its various "actors" bring the story to life!

Well done!

Good summary of the Cold War from the perspective of America. The historian who wrote this series is quite the Reagan fan and Carter critic. Every historian will bring his/her bias to the narrative, but this narrative was as good as they come and very easy for the casual history fan to listen to.

Quality Content and Highly Entertaining

One of my favorite history podcasts. It let's you imagine you are in a different time. It is the only show I know of with this kind of first person view of history which I really like. The characters are well done, and do justice to the people of the time period. There is clearly a ton of effort put into the quality of this show.

The Miracle of a Time Machine Exists!

I guess I've loved history most of my life. During the 1950s there was a TV show called "You Are There", relating historical events on the small black and white screen as if you were watching these occur in real time. This Podcast takes that idea and turbocharges it to amazing heights. With factual details, realistic sound effects and a wonderful narrator it uses as much time as needed to bring these stories to life. This Podcast should be used as an accredited course for college and universities as I'm sure nobody would ever cut class. Thank you for bringing this excellence to life.
