Year B - Thursday of All Souls' Day

🌹 All Souls' Day is a day for praying and remembering those who have passed, especially those still undergoing purification. Rooted in the communion of saints and the hope of resurrection, the Church teaches that through our prayers and offerings, we can assist souls on their journey to eternal joy. 🌿

💫 In the first reading from Wisdom, we are comforted by the promise that the souls of the just are in God’s hands, resting in peace and filled with hope in eternal life. This reading is a reminder of God's mercy and care for His faithful. 💖

🌱 St. Paul, in the second reading from Romans, speaks of our union with Christ through baptism, a union in both death and resurrection. Just as Christ was raised, we too share in the promise of a new and eternal life. 🌅

🌌 The Gospel brings reassurance through Jesus’ promise that none who come to Him will be lost. It is the Father’s will that all who believe will be raised on the last day, affirming our hope in salvation. ✨

Today, we are invited to pray for the souls of our departed loved ones, entrusting them to God’s mercy. We renew our own hope in the resurrection and look toward the ultimate joy of heaven, united with those who have gone before us. 🙏🕊️
