90 Days for the Souls in Purgatory

By: Fr. Thaddaeus Lancton MIC
  • Summary

  • Join Fr. Thaddaeus Lancton, MIC, for season 2 of his popular podcast, 90 Days for the Souls in Purgatory, as he walks us through intercessory prayers and sacrifices for 90 new groups of Holy Souls in need of our prayers. Since their founding, the Marian Fathers have had a charism of praying and offering suffrages for the faithful departed. By dividing the souls into ninety groups, based on their distinct sins or vices, in this case, drawn from the lessons of the catechism, we methodically intercede and so help set the captives free from Purgatory. Thank you

Thank you Father for doing this. I lost my mother in May and her brother in June. Perfect timing for my family.

A Great Gift

Like the other podcasts that the Marian fathers do, this podcast is brief but very spiritually enriching. This podcast has brought many graces to my life. It gave me a good opportunity to learn more about the faith, and specifically the Catholic Church’s views on various sins, and how we should be able to overcome them. It is very well organized and to the point. A great gift that makes me selfless. The souls of purgatory need our assistance, and this priest has done them a great service by shining a light on them.

My yoke is easy and my burden is light.

I've listened to all of these up to day 48 and feel totally convicted in all the presentations.

Perhaps a presentation on the purpose of purgatory would be appropriate here somewhere. A reassurance of the forgivness of Christ. I feel like I'm going to spend 3 million years in purgatory even with the forgivness of Christ.

I wonder if doing time in purgatory would be less punishment than the guilt and shame I feel when listening to this podcast.

One not catachized well.
