Mood booster!

I loved how this shifted my energy and my thought process. I loved the reminder of the most basic things I have longed for my whole life. Annnd I literally just realized something kinda big about myself! When she talks about things that brought us happiness as a child- I was able to think back upon my desire of creativity- drawing a simple tree in the yard from my window- writing poems- spending time in nature- dancing. These are all things I pushed down as I got older because I was never the best at them. I do write for myself because I believe I am good at it - but I find myself- all these years later- still doodling that tree that sat in my front yard. At some point I was made to believe I was not creative- or good enough creatively. However this actually doesn’t matter, because it brings me joy and happiness. Which leads to greater questioning of what I have held back with because of how I believe I have been perceived.
