  • Duke did it again! They walked out of John Paul Jones Arena in Charlottesville with an 80-62 win over the Virginia Cavaliers, the largest victoy Duke has had in that gym. We recap it almost immediately after the game on Episode 695. UVA made Duke work for it, but Duke was able to overcome it with rebounding and tough defense. They also were making shots and it was thrill to watch so many guys contribute in different ways. Cooper Flagg was Cooper Flagg, Kon Knueppel really did well in the paint, and Isaiah Evans was Showtime Slim. Each of them had 17 points each to pace Duke, and we talk about their contributions and so much more! The unfortunate part of the game was Maliq Brown likely dislocating his shoulder while deflecting a pass in the 1st half. His status is once again in question, but we’re more confident about how Duke will respond given the growth of this team.
